CAN MY FAMILY COME TO LIVE WITH ME IN IRELAND

Yes. If a person has the right to reside in the Ireland, the family (spouse, dependent children, grandchildren, parents and grandparents) can join that person. Cohabitants and partners have a right of residence, as long as they are not subject to visa regulations; in other words: we can be joined by a partner or cohabitant from any of the 26 Members of the EU.

DO I NEED TO SHOW MY PASSPORT COMING THROUGH IRISH BORDER

Yes. When crossing the Irish border, you will need to show your passport or ID card. Due to certain official formalities (insurance number), you must take both your passport and ID card with you.

DO I NEED A WORK PERMIT OR VISA TO WORK IN IRELAND

No. Citizens of all 26 Member States of the European Union – have freedom of movement and employment and do not have to apply for a work permit. All such workers are welcome in Ireland
